90 astro van," car kiln"

why not? may be fun,   actually not so far fetched, an idea worth a study perhaps. I would go with fiber rather than bricks except for the floor and if the engine still functions it could be somewhat mobile in a careful sort of way.   Fiber gets very fragile after it has been fired so it's probably not good to show up at the next pottery event in your kiln.   one could plant the van body permantly and build the rail and trolley bed assembly for a real "car kiln".   or...? play,  it's always good to play as long as the work gets finished.

front and rear wheel assemblys make good wheel heads with shafts and bearings units for motor or kick powered wheels.    the water pump with a metal or wooden disk replaceing the pulley and  mounted to a rear brake drum for a base makes a great banding wheel.  add the flywheel for even greater stability. alternator or any other shaft and bearing unit is also fair game.

the archives are full of ideas on recycled parts and materials as are older issues of the leading clay magazines.
