Well, it's time to cleanup for the Open Studio
Tour so I'd like to find another home for this
clay. It needs some TLC since it's been outside
since last summer.
4 bags (100 lbs) Claymaker Icelia translucent
porcelain - marked cone 6 - never tried it
4 bags Claymaker Stout Stoneware - a white clay
marked cone 10 for "throwing, sculpture,
raku" - never tried it
48 bags Aardvark Arctic White stoneware marked as
cone 5 - I used it for tile and it's
great - fired to cone 6 tip touching
( I called Aardvark to confirm before )
1400 lbs of clay for $100. Just one catch -
you gotta take it all.
Grass Valley, California. About 1 hour north
west of Sacramento in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
If you're on your way to Reno on Hwy 80, when
you pass Auburn, you're about 30 minutes away.
