several thoughts.
yes, cat, we do get depressed.
we work hard for years. we make things that
bring joy and smiles to customers. we make things
that have history, tradition, craftsmanship and joy.
we run an honest business. we actually make money.
the old fashioned way. we do not ask for anything in return.
just respect. we do not ask the government, or a handout system
to take care of us. and, as i said last night....this whore attitude
is taught. that kid did not just `happen to come up with this
wisdom`. and, it would be fun to track this kid for the next
20 years. we will find him working at kohl's, selling shoes.
to have our work denigrated does not hurt as much
as it makes me want to `smack` someone.
this attitude is like watching a new sitcom on tv.
no substance, no humor, just filth and stupidity.
written by drones. they think, they think they have
answers.
not.
and, it is interesting to note.
(in my opinion.)
hamada did nothing by accident.
he was a ph.d. ceramic engineer.
it just `seems` that he was a humble, dirt potter.
it could not be farther from the truth.
i know, the arguments will come flowing in, but he was
a very smart fellow, he knew the score...always.
he also understood the history and tradition of his craft.
and, he made a hell of a lot of money.
