Has anyone ever experimented with using pecan shells for ash glazes? I check archives did not find anything on it.
I have a ton of shells left at the end of pecan season and wondered if they would be useable in an ash glaze-part of the walnut family which also encompasses the hickory-wondered how it would come out?
Mainly I use them when I BBQ-works great-got to thinking about glazes with them.Anyone ever tried?
