if it is workable, why doesn't everyone do it?
because it spalls.
it falls off at some later time.
it falls into your pots.
it is the most awful thing that
can happen in a kiln./
\it is the reason many manufactures
of kilns won't take a chance with itc.
the fear of spalling.
so,
i would never do it.
period.
itc works. it does not spall.
hell, you could make your own.
but, it would spall all over your pots.
and, the kiln would be ruined for life.
