Kevin, I have also applied ITC to both my kiln elements and the kiln
itself. It has made a difference in the eveness of the firing and has
also increased the efficiency of the firings. I'm using less electrity.
I highly recommend the product based on personal experience.
On another note I couldn't help but laugh at the "hammer attracting
pots" signature of Wayne. My pots, especially some of the older ones
that I made with the express intention of being made quickly and
therefore would be nice and cheap, are doing the same thing.
Funny how that 22oz framing hammer just flys across the room all by
itself some times, completely unaided. LOL.......I really don't know
what the problem is. It seems to have taken on a mind of it's own in
recent months. An old reliable tool suddenly becoming
hyper-critical!?!?! What gives? In fact, I sense that it is about to
take a swing through a coupla more of the lesser beings in the shop. I
better go out and have a look. Perhaps to cull is good.
Hope this helps
