While rummaging through one of my favorite thrift stores I found a nice =
big book called The Potter's Complete Book of Clays and Glazes by James =
Chappell. Copyright is 1977. It is so full of recipes for glaze and clay =
and whether or not they are toxic with all kinds of information about =
the stuff I tilt my head about when I am reading Clayart. Such a steal =
for $2.25!!! =20
I hope that the fact it is 27 years old does not make this info too =
dated to be used today. It is still fascinating. I feel so lucky to have =
found it.

I have used a lot of recipies from that book over the years,
and actually may have old notes about some of them if you care to contact me
offlist.
I cannot attest to their safety etc...but rather the aesthetic and firing
qualities
..... but the people who use the glaze calc
programs should be able to.
