Hello clarters--well, I've survived day 1 of the studio tour in =
Modesto--people very interested in the raku process and my kiln set up =
but very reluctant to part with cash. I had two oil painters, a pastel =
painter and a glass artists also in the yard. Same thing, not much cash =
flowing. However, I think we all made a bunch of new friends who are =
interested in what we do--it was a nice feeling explaining our art =
processes to people, and most gratifying when they admired my studio =
space. I really did clean it up nicely, I must admit. Cheers Carolyn =
