Hi everyone!
I'm new to clayart and still trying to navigate my way around. I ran a search but did
not find an answer so I apologize if this has already been discussed.
I am interested in mixing up Lucie Rie's white glaze for some tableware, and I really
like the look of her edges and rims which were stained brown with manganese and
copper carbonate. I know these materials are toxic to handle raw, but I was
wondering how tableware safe they are after being fired to cone 8 in an electric kiln?
Thank you for any help or advice that you can give!
Jennifer
