i also just got back from kentuck.. i agree with mark its a wonderful show! there is alot of wonderful art there! so much to see. it was the best show i have done so far. i met some of the wonderful potters that i have emailed and chatted with online and now i have had the pleasure of meeting them in person. john rogers and i traded pots. i was lucky to get one of his plates with a moose stamped on his back.. how could he know that i collected moose. he is a very delightful man who was a joy to meet. then i met raku lou.. a very nice man indeed. i talked his arm off. all you have to do is get me started on talking clay and i cant shut up. i also met lowell baker from u of ala. i know he was really ready to get rid of me. i was at his booth alot.. picking his brain so to speak. arent potters great! you can meet them for the first time and talk to them like long lost freinds.
i sold all but one of my new work. for those of you who dont know i have started slumping glass into my work.i only wish i could have had more completed before the show as i could have sold it too. i thought about it for over a yr before i started doing it. i knew this was something i really wanted to try and now im really glad that i finally did it!

if any of you are in the atlanta area i have been invited to do the avondale show. come and check out my booth. i am trying to get some more of the new work done in time to take to show. hope to see you there!
