Ah, this brings up a question I've had concerning my terra cotta...even
though it IS fired in a school kiln. Because I'm using a different clay,
we fire mine separately, usually when I get enough to fill or nearly fill
the kiln. I'm noticing quite a bit of difference in color, from a
tomato-red through a dark, rich red-brown. I'm assuming this means the kiln
is firing somewhat unevenly, yes?

And suddenly I am not receiving my own posts back, though they appear to be
getting out there...not sure what's up with this, it's happened on other
lists too, and all my options and protocols look normal.

Anyway, if you would also answer me offlist--CC this address--I'd be VERY
grateful! I'm trying to figure this out...weird...
