dear mel,
...she does not have her own SODA KILN... yet!
altho, i do have a cone 10 electric kiln for nine
years now, and i have a small, portable raku kiln.
i also fire in metal garbage cans with saw dust,
and did some sagger firings as well.

but after i took a gail nickols soda workshop, i
just couldnt help it, i fall in love (again! :))
so, i had to ask every potter friend who
had a soda or salt kiln if i can fire with them.
now, i have the bug!!!
so, i will have to have my 'very own' soda kiln.
that doesnt mean that i am not going to use my
electric kiln (i promise) - or not
going to do my primitive firings anymore...
i am just expanding, learning new things.

yes! and i am so excited... thank you mel for
the wonderful encouragement, you are right,
i need to improve, to discover new things.
"shall we sodafire?" YEAH!
-i just saw this movie, 'shall we dance'
its about going for your dreams. i liked it!

cheers,
marta
