Hi Llewellyn,
I checked out digitalfire.com's listings on these. They differ quite a bit.
The webpages on digitalfire suggest alternatives and subs for these frits
but not P25 for 3110 or vice-versa. These seem to differ most in CaO,
alumina and silica.

I'm not sure which you are trying to sub for, but check out :
http://www.digitalfire.ab.ca/cermat/material/671.html P25
http://www.digitalfire.ab.ca/cermat/material/349.html 3110
Thanx

Llewellyn, if you happen to have the Campbell's catalog, they have the frits
set up in a chart so you can see the equivalents.

I have read or received information somewhere that Pempco (P-25) is
equivalent to Ferro Frit # 3110.? Can anyone verify this? I have searched

Thanks much Cindy. Now I can proceed (order some frit) and get going with
the tests.
