The "My Name is Mudd" conference took place this past weekend and we all had
a great time and learned alot. I finally got to meet Merrie Boerner... What a
nice lady, but no red shoes. She said she had them with her though...... We
both did what we could to promote Clay Art because we seemed to be the only
members there. Merrie did a small fund-raiser for Jared Branfman by selling
some leftover Clay Art tee shirts. (which we were both wearing during the
conference).
The presenters were Randy Johnston, Kathy King, and Jeremy Jernegan.
Although they have diverse styles, their personalities and abilities made for super
presentations. I am already looking forward to next year, not to mention the
Randy Broadnax week-long workshop which is scheduled to start the 17th of
November here on the Mississippi Gulf coast.
