That magic time has arrived for me. Ready to purchase that first wheel.
Interested in what may be out there within driving distance for me. I am =
about 85 miles so of Dallas, but for the right wheel at the right price =
I might be willing to drive a ways.

You can try Trinity in Dallas (closest) or Armadillo in Austin (not much
further down the road) or Ceramic Store Inc. in Houston (if you want to
tie in a trip to Gaido's in Galveston for some really good seafood - ha
ha) I commend you for wanting to buy from a local supplier! I've
always thought that's the best choice unless you don't like the local
person. I can personally vouch for John Williams at Trinity. He's a
great guy, as is Butch at Ceramic Store. I've never had any personal
dealings with Armadillo, but I've heard great things about them. I'd
say you can't go wrong with any of those three! I'd call them and find
out what brands they sell and "test drive" their service on the phone.
Trinity's number is 214-631-0540, Ceramic Store's is 713-864-6442. I
don't know Armadillo's off-hand, but I'm pretty sure they advertise in
CM and/or Clay Times, so you can look there. Good luck!
