I recently bought a Randall wheel at an auction. It has a 9" dog food bowl
type wheelhead on a tapered 1" Morse tapered shaft. I am looking for a 14"
aluminum wheelhead to fit the tapered shaft. I called the posted ph # in
the NY area where it was manufactured- disconnected. Called Jepson in Fl -
no longer sell wheelheads. Called Thomas stuart in Co- they have a similar
head but a different degree taper that will require it to be cut by a
machine shop. Does anyone have a 14" aluminum wheelhead that was made for
this wheel? I will pay a fair price/ shipping. I live in central Palm Beach
County.
Thanks, Millard

Male sure your top edge of your bucket head is running true. If it is
not try sharpend metal tool braced well on a cross brace and true it
up. Then get a thick stainless or aluminum sheet cut in a circle and
bolt it down. Or take the existing wheelhead to amachine shop and ask
them to do it. If you don't throw much , you might get away with a
plastic cirlce bolted on and plasti bats or some other commercial bat.

Contact AMACO - American Clay Company - they sell bucket or "chuck"
heads - they are the same. Brent Potter Wheels are a subsidiary of
AMACO, and you can get Brent wheel heads from them as well.
