Call the ASPCA poison center - (888) 426-4435. Their website is
http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=apcc_phonenumber There may
be a $50 charge for their service. You also really need to get him to an
vet emergency room as soon as possible. Copper and chrome are both toxic.

Call your Vet Now! That are resources he or she will have to get the
information needed. This is not something you should try to take care of
yourself. My prayres are with you and your puppy. Josie another golden
lover.

Hi Michele,

Probably...he merely has got his nose into these dusts a
little bit, and had not injested them to any meaningful
degree.

Puppies have quite remarkable tolerances...also...(as the
resultant flatulence from thier having eaten foam-rubber for
example, can sometimes attest..)

Wash him off...keep an eye on him...likely, he is fine...

Otherwise, if you have the names of the suspect chemicals
handy ( as you seem to) you can call "Information" and
obtain the numer for calling your regional 24 hr Poison
Controll Hotline ( I think it is called) and then, talking
to a representative, ask about probable symptoms, and
recommended treatment-regimin.

Maybe - if you are going to do that - withold water and food
for the time being...untill you have spoken to them.

Help!!! I just got home and found that my 4 month old golden Retiever
puppy got in to my studio while I was out. He tore open bags of copper,
Chrome and redart. He has green powder around his nose and mouth but his
throat looks clear. Has anybody had this experience or know what to do?
Please post to me directly damicom@cruzio.com ASAP if you have ANY
thoughts or information. I'm certain my local vet knows little about
glaze materials.
Thanks
