I am going to school to study ceramics in Australia. I have been accepted
to three schools; University of Tasmania, Australian National University,
and La Trobe University. If anyone could comment on these schools it
would be greatly appreciated. I am mainly concerned with the quality of
their faculty and facilities. Wood and salt firing is something I would
like to study in depth. Which of these universities has the best
program? Any advice would be a big help in making this tough decision.
Thanks,

Luke,
The three Universities you mention are absolutely tops both for the quality of teachers and facilities.
Search on their web pages to see works by graduates. You might see a style or a strength you're looking for.
La Trobe, Bendigo being in the bush is famous for wood and salt firings.
ANU with Greg Daly and Janet deBoos Has top programs. They've produced amazing artists.
Tasmania is very innovative as well.
I chose my school after going for a few years to graduation exhibitions.
Their was a style of work that appealed me very much and I after a few workshops, I knew I wanted to be around certain teachers.
Time proved me to be right. It was Caulfield Campus, Monash University in Melbourne.
