I posted a new batch of pictures of my new studio on the website this
week. We're making progress.
We're using a new (in the US) type of block called AAC. It stands for
aerated something. They are the consistancy of kiln brick. We're making
cuts with a band saw and hand saw. It leaves you open for all kinds of
cool detail work, and they are self insulating to something approaching
R40. We'll finish with stucco on the outside and plaster on the inside.
From the home page, click on New Studio near the bottom of the page.

Hello all, I have finally spent some time in front of my computer and
have updated the studio pictures! (the new ones are on page 3 and 4)
We're getting closer. Weather permitting we'll probably move our
household stuff this weekend, and the studio stuff in a week or so.
Then there will be lots of little stuff to do around all the pots that
I'm ready to start throwing again :)

We're getting closer. Still waiting for stucco, but I got fed up by
waiting and moved a wheel and tools over today. I'm determined to throw
my first pots tomorrow. It's been 6 weeks, I'm so far behind!
