why i need my own kiln...

...dying of frustration here! My friend Keith called a bit ago to tell me
the new redware looks great--he was just opening the kiln! I must have had
a load full, all on my own...he says the test tiles look good, the glazes
look yellow/amber, the sgraffito looks good. (Actually he said really
great, but I'm withholding judgement till I see them! He looooves to
tease...)

I had pinch pots, bowls, a coil bean pot, cups, platters, plates...

BUT. It snowed last night. The "dusting" they were expecting is about 4-5"
deep. My knee is SERIOUSLY screwed up, really fragile since August. The
snowplows dumped a 4 foot tall wall in _front_ of the driveway into the
ceramics studio, so I can't drive close--it's a bit of a hike when I'm in
GOOD shape. Normally, 5 guys come with the first snowflake wanting to dig
out my walk and car--not today!

Auuuuuuuugh!!! I WANT TO GO SEE MY STUFF!!

OK. I'll admit it, I'm whining. Hadda let off some frustration!! Ow.

Best--
