gladstone slab roller

Does anyone have any experience with the Gladstone slab roller G603. They
are hand made in the UK. They have an adjustable roller, rather than a set
of boards to adjust the thickness of the slab. I can't find any consumer
reviews relating to this slab roller, as it is quite a small company. If
anyone has had experience with this roller and can point out any
design/operating faults I would like to know, also any good comments. Thanks.

Jon,

We've got one in the shop, working on the basis that you need to know it
to sell it and we're pretty impressed. Previous experience has been with
a Bailey DRDll which I think is excellent. The Gladstone is very close.
It has central adjustment, but you can also vary it a bit on the sides
to produce a slight taper if needed. It handles quite large lumps of
clay on a *one pass* basis, though not as much as the Bailey, but fairly
close. It is built like a brick outhouse to use the polite version of
the phrase!
We think it's worth the money.
