Opportunity Description:
This is an opportunity to work with an established artist who is seeking an assistant. You will be expected to perform a wide variety of tasks. You should be able to follow instructions and at the same time use your own creative impulses when working with this artist. Silk screen painting, canvas preparation, paint mixing, experimental painting and studio maintenance are some of the task you will perform. This is a very non-structured work environment with frequent trips to collect objects and paint at other locations around the Atlanta area.
Experience or a strong interest in creating art will be a determining factor but not required. The most important requirement is the ability to demonstrate a strong motivation to achieve professional success in the field of fine art.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn and profit from the association with this artist who has a preference for an aggressive career promotional campaign.
