Hi Dale, all...
I have sold a few Cars on the e-bay, for others, and part of
my Auction schpiel was to say...
"Payment must be in United States Dollars."
"No foreign insturments of any kind, from anyone, for
anything, "period"...but especially so, from Nigeria or any
other part of Africa...or any part of China, or any opart of
the Near East, Araby, the middle East or it's larger
environs, or any part of the present or former reshuffled
CCCP players, or any of it's previous satelite Nations or
contiguous Nations, or Greece, Turkey, Yugoslavia or
Albania..."
"Paypal...Western Union Moneygram and United States currency
sent by currier, dispatch or registered Mail, gladly
accepted."
"Domestic United Stated Money Orders or Cashier's Checks,
will be considered potentially dubious untill three weeks
after my Bank assures me thay have ab-so-lute-leee cleared,
which may occasion delays for the merchandise being released
to the lucky Auction winner who did not send Cash, use
paypal, or dispatch a Western Union issued
mailed-by-Western-Union-to-me of, Money Order...which ANY
boy or girl may obtain by useing any valid Credit Card."
"Storage fees: This item must be removed within ten days of
Auction's close. Winner agrees in advance, if they bid on
this auction at all, to pay ten Dollars a-day
Storage, for every day item remains sitting here in my way
where I can keep walking around it wondering
when-the-hell-you/they-gunna-come get the damned thing,
after the initial ten day grace period, and that this
additional and seperate consideration must be paid in United
States Cash only, before item will be released to winner or
his
assigns or representatives."
About like that...
Seemed to work out allrighty...had no problems...
Otherwise...there are folks indeed who will connive to take
advantage of ye.
In fact...they are many who will think...that if you do not
have firm terms...that you are just "askin' for it" as they
say...
Love,
Phil
