hi dori.
I also have a manual skutt, mine is a 1227. For bisque I do 4 hours
low, 4 hours med and then about 3-4 hours on high for cone 04. This is
with an envirovent and all bungs plugged.
For glaze I do, 1 hour low, 1 hour med, then about 9 on high to reach
cone 6, and I may switch the middle ring to medium while the top and
bottom catch up at the end. Then I turn all switches off, vent still
on, for one hour then all switches back to medium for 1/2 hour then shut
all off, vent off, cover the vent holes in the lid and open after around
20-24 hours.
