Ceramics Learning Vacation to Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula!

March 30 - April 9, 2005

The beauty of the Caribbean and of the Mayan culture goes hand in hand in
this extraordinary 11-day adventure through time and place. In the first
days, ceramic art works are created in the homeland of the great ancient
Mayan ceramics artists; Tikul, Yucatan. Then for the majority of the trip,
travel to a world-class beach location in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve
on the Caribbean coast, to sculpt clay and explore firing techniques. Sun,
fun, sea kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, 'beaching' and relaxing are all
included in this great experience that rejuvenates and inspires.

This program is one in a series of inter-cultural Art/Adventures sponsored
by Living Adventure Inc. of Bayfield, WI. American artist Kevin Caufield
co-teaches with Mayan artist Luis Echeverria, offering cultural
perspectives in design and clay works.

Trip cost - $1,695.
