Hi clayart,

I haven't been keeping up with the list very much lately as life has
taken over... but I did want to make sure to contribute this gem of a
"clay" recipe I just had fun with:

Low Fire Cone041 Porcelain*
sucrose, 300 mesh 420 grams
powdered albumen, 300 mesh 8 grams

possible body additives:
* 1-3% peppermint oil
* 1-3% orange oil
* 1-3% lemon oil
* 0.5% lavender oil
1.0% peppermint oil
* 3-5% vanilla

body stains:
*1-5% various food stains

Cone 040 Caoca Glaze
theobroma cacao 56.7 g
sucrose, 300 mesh 17.0 g

* I couldn't help but throw "porcelain" and "lowfire" together like that
given the list's past discussions...
I'll try to post pictures of my test tiles soon :)

Enjoy,
Jocelyn

Hi Jocelyn,

As the body would have a high porosity would it be porcelain !

Regards,

Andrew

Darn, I think you're right... I shall rename it low fire Wonder White,
for it isn't translucent.

...well, maybe if I roll out a sheet thin enough...

cheers,
jocelyn
