I will soon have a 3 bedroom house for rent about 20 minutes south of
Olympia, Washington. The house also has a 20x30 shop which would make an
excellent pottery studio. The house and shop are situated on the same 17
acre where I have a house and a 40x60 shop with a metal shop, wood shop,
ceramics shop, electronics shop, classroom (to teach pottery classes and
more) and a retail center (to sell yours and our pottery and more). I
have plans to build a gas fired kiln here soon. If an accomplished
potter were interested in renting, I would certainly build it sooner.
The house and shop will rent for $900 and will be available sometime
after the new year. Currently I am repainting and installing new carpets
and a few other niceties.

We are on a main highway and get lots of traffic for the retail center,
but still rural. The property backs up to national forest land with
endless trails for hiking and breathtaking views for inspiration. Across
the street is a stocked lake for fishing, or boating. Nearby is a river
for swimming. The property is bordered by a paved bike path that runs
from Olympia to Yelm to Tenino.

My wife and I are into organic gardening, pottery and other artistic
pursuits. I am also a graphic designer, web site creator and a digital
photographer. She is an Occupational Therapist.

So to Recap:
3 bedroom house
massive studio
a place to sell your art
cool multitalented artistic neighbors (more than just me and my wife, too!)
web site
kiln
classroom
hiking/biking/fishing/swimming/boating
plus plenty of room for an organic garden!
plus lots of apple trees and a cider press!!
