Hey All...
In this day and age it is so nice to call a big company and be treated =
like a real person...
I ordered 1100 bricks and 12 kiln shelves from Larkin Furnace and like =
so many potters I called back many times with questions... I was treated =
great by the sales person Pam.... and Tina (title unknown) was also =
great..
Besides all that they had the best prices.....
and the kicker is....
I ordered the bricks on Wednesday.... they were delivered on =
Friday...!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Holidays

I just want to echo what Pete said. I also just made the second of 2
purchases from Larkin for the new wood kiln here...total order was 30
shelves and about 1000 bricks. I worked with Jim mostly, although Pam
helped me too. The best part of the whole experience came when I asked Jim
for advice on how to acurately caluclate the amount of bricks needed for
the arch. After a few measurements, he was able to tell me down to the
exact brick how many #1's,2's, skews, and splits we would need. It was more
money to ship the bricks from Georgia to Ohio, but well worth it for the
service I recieved. Oh yeah, and they got to me in 2 days also. Awesome.
