Just tried out a great little tip from Bracker's Good Earth Clay--I was
complaining about how stiff the little bulb thingies are these days (bought
at the drug store as a nasal aspirator or ear syringe), and Ann suggested
putting it in boiling water to soften it. VOILA, much easier to squeeze,
therefore much easier to get a nice uniform line!

Thanks, Ann! Couldn't resist sharing this one...

Best--
Kate

Hey Gang,

For the quickest slip trailing tip I know of take any squeeze bottle & a piece of scotch tape. Start the tape at an angle & wind upwards then back down again. You can get any size hole you need with little (one or two tries) effort. I use hair coloring bottles since they're free after doing my hair. I've been using this method for the last seven yrs. I also use pastry bags & decorating tips with satisfying results
