I am mixing a recipe and found I am short 1 1/2 oz of spodumene. Is there
anything I could substitute? If not, this is a 100 OUNCE batch of glaze. Would 1
1/2 oz alter it terribly?
Thanks in advance,
Gaye

Hi Gaye,
That much lithium carb would be way too much - don't do it.
Send me the recipe and i will work out the sub for you.
You will need to replace sime alumuna and silica as well so the unity
formula is the right way to go with this.

Greetings Gaye and Crew,
Gawaine Dart clayed foreward to me some Spodumene. Seems like you only
need a vary small amount. Would a soup can full get you to a 500gr. batch?
Get ahold of me and I could hook you up. You'll have to cover at least the
shipping. I don't know what it's worth per ounce or how much that is cause
I don't have a scale anymore, except the scale I weighed brush with and
it's two pounds off. What do you expect for a fish scale.
