Looking for a Cone 10 white glaze (satin or shiny) that will not craze on
Tucker's 10-80 porcelain clay.

Laurie, have you tried Leach White. It's kind of a classic. I don't
know how it would work on your porcelain but it does well on my clays
which are not porcelain. LRR
Leach White cone 8-10
Custer 40
whiting 30
silica 20
epk 10
tin oxide 5
For turquoise or green add : copper carb 3
For cone 6
substitute neph syn for custer spar.

Hi Laurie and all,
Here is the cone 9-10 white that I loved when I did high fire. In
heavy reduction it gets orange in places over iron-rich clay. In
light reduction it is glowing white.
Bone Ash Cone 10 white
BY VOLUME
4 oxford or kingman spar
1 bone ash
2 talc
2 china clay
1/2 tin oxide or zircopax for white
How easy is that! Cuppa this, cuppa that.
