I cannot tell, at the moment, whether the level of sadness I feel is
cumulative or not. Ken has been a source for a lot of us for many years.
Source: that place where something begins; a place from which something
flows. Probably not the Webster's definition, but surely mine.

I am glad he was able to be in his studio once more.

Gotta cut it short now.

Subject: Ken Ferguson Has Passed Away

I am just passing this sad news. I knew he was very ill with throat
cancer and if finally got the better of him.

Ken Ferguson passed away sometime overnight. He was at home with family
and friends under Hospice care. When he left the nursing home last
weekend he went out to his studio one more time with Russell's help.
Ken spent the last four months in hospital, nursing home and Hospice.
Gertrude has said the family plans to hold a public Memorial Service
later in the spring. If you would like to send a card to Gertrude her
address is:

Gertrude Ferguson
