Dear Ian,
I mentioned the same things you complained about in a cement slab to the guy
who did my slab. He prickled a little and assured me that I would *not* have
these problems with any slab he poured. ;) Well, so far, he's right, but
it's only a year old. He did a phenominal job--one of the few things we did
not do ourselves, and I'm glad we didn't. I did acid stain and seal the slab
in my throwing room and will probably do something eventually with the other
rooms as well. I finished it only for the sake of appearance.
