Hi- I am new to the list and fairly new to pottery. I took pottery lessons
about a year ago and for all of life=92s little get in the way reason=92s,
stopped. Anyway, the other night I threw a small bowl on a friends wheel
and it all came back to me, the smell, feel, excitement, I was in love with
pottery again. I recently acquired a Creative Industries model JR electric
pottery wheel. All of the motor and electrical components have been
removed. I have spoken to someone about rebuilding the pottery wheel and
they are requesting a schematic of original motor, RPM=92s, shaft
size........ more information than I could possibly know on my own. I have
contacted Creative Industries and they are looking through their archives,
because this model is no longer manufactured. I know that Creative
Industries is probably my best answer but patience isn=92t one of my
strongest qualities. Having my own wheel has been a long time desire of
mine, and to be so close, yet still so far is frustrating. Any help this
list could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,
