Just an FYI to folks going to the Potters Council Workshop... I just found
out (from a friend in Fort Bragg) that Mendocino has no cell phone service.
Apparently, you need to drive 10 miles north to Fort Bragg in order to get a
signal. (add'l information I found on Google:
http://www.stanfordinn.com/cell.htm)
As such, I'm planning to bring my old calling card from my long-distance
provider, in order to make cheaper calls from the hotel, pay phones, etc.
You may want to bring yours, and ensure that you remember your PIN if
required...
Let me know if anyone has heard differently-
See y'all soonly!

True! And the folks up there, being the ultimate (inhaling) hippies, won't
allow a transmission tower because they don't want their peace and quiet
disturbed. Who can blame them?
There is a coffee shop with good, strong coffee (I think one of the best is
called something like "Suicide") and they also have a couple of computers on
high-speed lines, so one could even stay in touch with ClayArt.
