I hope this will be interest to potters in the Ottawa Valley, Ontario - =
as well as a bit further afield.
The Deep River Potters Guild will be hosting a workshop with Tim Storey =
for all interested potters in the Ottawa Valley on January 22 and 23. =
Tim is a Madawaska Valley potter with a studio near Foymont, Ontario =
(the highest point in Ontario) and has become internationally recognized =
for his exquisite salt glazed animal teapots. Some of his wonderful work =

The workshop will be in Deep River on January 22, 23, starting at 9.30 =
am, in the Guild with a slide presentation & will proceed to the =
Library Program Room for the afternoon & on Sunday. This will be a =
hands-on workshop with handbuilding techniques & will be useful to new & =
experienced members. A pot-luck supper will be held for participants on =
Saturday evening. Cost will be approximately $60.
