Hello All :)
This is my first post to Clayart. A little about myself first. I live in =
country Western Australia and have worked with clay for 15 years, mainly =
small handbuilt sculpture. I've just recently discovered Raku and am so =
excited by it and have enjoyed learning something new. In two months 50% =
of my sales are now Raku and I've been getting great feedback and so am =
very happy. In fact, I think I'm a bit obsessed with Raku at the moment =
:)=20
I've scoured the internet for Raku glaze recipes, including all the =
Clayart archives, and am wondering if anyone could share with me their =
favourite Raku glaze and possibly a brief description of it? I'm more =
attracted to the glosses than the mattes at this stage and the following =
is one of my favourites :=20
Moonshine
Frit 3134 45.00
Gerstley borate 40.00
Flint 7.00
EPK 8.00
Copper carbonate 6.00
It's a glossy beautiful green with nice copper flashes in reduction and =
very dependable. I've also put together a freebie geocities website. =
The seahorse is part Moonshine and part Candy Lustre.

Hello and thanks for that :)
I already get your newsletter and have looked through all the old ones. =
Thanks so much for putting that out...they're great and I've learnt a =
lot from them and also from reading through the Clayart archives.=20
Gary, I also bought your 300+ recipes so I have quite a few recipes now =
and am slowly going through them, trying them out. The Moonlight recipe =
I gave isn't in your ebook, so you might like to add it to your next =
one:)
I've received emails from people asking for recipes, but I was hoping =
that Rakuist's out there might be able to share their tried and true =
favourite recipe names, and possibly a brief description or pic of what =
they look like. Thanks again.
Regards
Deborah
