For all you clayarters inthe Seattle/bellevue area:

Kirkland Arts Center is now accepting applicationsfor its
Resident Ceramic Artist program. The program offers 8 artists a
venue to improve skills, develop a creative vision, and share
knowledge.

Resident artists have 24-hour access to a co-operative studio
space, with access to gas, electric, and raku kilns, slab roller,
extruder, and other usual clay studio amenities. They receive a
15% discount on KAC classes and workshops.

They are required to be members of Kirkland Arts Center, and
to put in 10 hours per month in community service to the Arts
Center, and to participate in fundraising events. Studio fees are
$120/month, and do not include clay or firing fees. Positions are
for two years, with option to reapply. The position begins April
1st, and the application deadline is February 20th.
