Dear Chris Campbell,
Is it the intention of the organisers to make a full record of these
event for publication?
I'm certain there would be many people who would wish to purchase both
a book recording the discussions and a DVD of the demonstrations.
Best regards,
Ivor Lewis.

This is a terrific idea and I will forward it to the organizers
of the event. They might already have it covered.
I will report back.

This is an interesting area for discussion. One of the last organizations
that asked me in to demonstrate had a little rider in their contract that
specified that they would videotape my demonstration, and that they would
own the rights to distribute the tapes, as well as own any profits from that
distribution. What they were offering me to come in and demonstrate was not
sufficient for me to give up any interest in the processes I've learned and
developed over my working lifetime. I chose to pass on the workshop.
I've wondered if other venues and organizations make this a part of their
standard contract? Any other of you presenters ever encountered this?
Best,

I also would love to attend. The one in Indianapolis was within my reach,
but because of my hearing loss, I cannot hear in such areas. Even parties
drive me up a tree as all voices jumble together, but I salvage a good time
if I can find a quiet place and snag one or two people to talk to, laugh
with, and generally have a good time.
If you could offer a DVD at a cost to cover the expenses, I would think that
many would purchase one. However, if it needed to be edited and worked on,
that would entail some volunteer time or additional expense. Another
suggestion would be that if the presenter would prefer not to be taped, then
that should be accommodated.
It would be such a wonderful thing to experience the events for those unable
to attend for physical, financial, and/or travel reasons. Seems like it
would really bring the Clayart family together.
Hope you all think about it.
Warm Regards,
Bonnie Staffel
