okay people,

I am not a baltimore expert. I live out in Anne Arundel county between
Annapolis and the City . and I tend to go to DC more than in the city.
but...here is something to help.

The first three are guides to baltimore hotels. the last one is for
the hotels out at the airport. BWI. be sure to check about where each
hotel is in relationship to the convention center AND what kind of
transportation is available.. There are taxi's and buses, and the
metro/subway. but they don't all go every where. and the metro closes
down at 11PM I think. parking is pricey at the inner harbor. The good
news is the the O's aren't back in town yet so there will be parking
available.

Now for eating and drinking....

http://www.baltimore.org/ click on eat & drink- there are 138
choices and a bit about them.....And nothing in the city is more than a
10 minute cab ride. (I am not sure of the cab prices because I always
drive into the city.)

For those of you who were interested in Annapolis, We have great
seafood restaurants here. super nightlife with lots of live music.
Also the Annapolis tour that NCECA offers should really be good. I am
familiar with most of the venues and they should be really good. That
said, I will probably go on the tour up to Frederick because I don't
get up that way often.

this give a good overview of Annapolis.

there are a number of Clay buds in the area. Maybe some of the others
will make some more suggestions.
