I am looking for someone who knows how to cast heating elements in a ceramic
refractory. I have a wax burn out kiln with elements that I am going to
replace but it uses elements that are imbedded in a refractory. I have the
refractory but need to know how the elements can be held in place while the
refractory cement is poured over the coils.
Any help would be most appreciative.

Bob, you have an interesting project. Kiln manufacturers recommend replacing
the ceramic fiber "muffle" rather than replace the element. It may be
possible, though, to hold the new element in place with a refractory
adhesive.
