lepidolite question

I found a good book with many mentions of Lepidolite. I believe that I used
to use it myself in the early days. I may even have a recipe which I will
look up tomorrow. The name of the book is Glazes for the Potter by Emmanuel
Cooper and Derek Royle. If you want a chemical breakdown, I can give you
that, as well as an explanation of its use in the glaze if you cannot find
the book. ISBN 0684160218 published by Charles Scribner's Sons 1978.

I also have Binns' book and the glaze recipes in there are mainly lead
based. I also have three 6" test tiles by Rookwood Pottery, the RP is on
the back of the tile with only reference numbers written by each test.
Binns was one of my first books in 1949 and I worked with lead at that time
but I made mostly white glazes.

Hope this helps.
