Hello Claybuds,
I thought that I would chip in here and tell you that I took a kiln
building workshop with Mark here in Ontario, last May. It was an
incredible experience. The kiln was a work of art. . . . and not
only that!, the kiln fired very evenly to cone 10/11 throughout.
I was so impressed with Mark's knowledge, and ability direct us all
so well in each aspect of the kiln building. His quiet sense of
humor, and his unfailing attention to detail and yes his
perfectionism, all made the workshop a true learning experience.
I will never forget that workshop.
If you go to the web-site, you will see the kiln that we built. (I
am on the extreme left, with glasses.)
Oh, yes, I should tell you that the kiln was built at Monica Johnson's.
His web-site is really worth a look.
