I recently purchased some rutile (powdered) since I ran out of rutile
that I have had for years. I have been using the rutile in a glaze
(partial mat) that I have consistently used for years. My new batch of
glaze came out quite glossy. Could this be because of using powdered
rutile. I can not remember if my old batch of rutile was powdered or
granular. I also realize I may have made an error when calculating and
measuring my glaze. Any info regarding the effect of powdered vs..
granular rutile in a glaze will be greatly appreciated.
