free website help for potters

The other day I spoke with a potter who had a very nice site. I
complimented them on it. They replied that they hadn't made any changes
to the photos in three years because they had a bit of a phobia about
messing with it and they had lost contact with the people who set up
the site. Besides it was too expensive to call a website company to do
it and they only had a slow dial-up connection. I've been giving them
tips on how to do it and they are making progress.

Now I'm a potter and have been for many years but I'm also a website
designer and web master for a music company.
Over the years I have built a rather robust home set-up for web work
and would be happy to drop in a few new photos or add a few lines of
text here and there for you. For free. I know potters don't make a ton
of money so I thought I would offer some help. I checked around and
found that website pros that are connected with a web hosting service
charge $90.00 an hour for website work...yeah right.

Photos: If you don't have a digital camera you can send me prints and I
will scan them for you and place a few of them into your web page. You
will have to pay for return postage. Of course I could burn all your
scanned pictures to a CD or add a couple of web pages or create an
entire new website for you...but let's stick to the free stuff. I will
give you prices on other things as you need them...never $90.00 an
hour. But I'm not here to sell website stuff, I want to make pots
frankly. And, just help out a bit.
