My bottle of Axner's "flocs" is getting low after several years use for
keeping glazes in suspension - and i noticed that it has gradually eroded
the plasic bottle it came in which has started to leak.
Someone told me years ago - when i first got the bottle - that it was
muriatic acid. It definitely is SOME kind of acid because if you get the
conentrated stuff on your hands you can tell. Anyway, i would like to know
if this really is muriatic acid, or if muriatic acid will do the same
thing, because i am running out and the local hardware store has 1 gallon
bottles of it for very cheap. No sense in sending money all the way to
florida when i can spend it a few miles down the road (nothing against
axner).
Anyone know about this?
