Anyone going to be near Charlotte NC next week? I'm part of a group
from the Toe River Arts Council that is going to be exhibiting at the
Southern Spring Home and Garden Show. The show runs from
Wednesday-Sunday.
It's quite a the thing, one building of all home improvement stuff. One
building of 10X10X10X.... stuff; plants, crafts, gadgets, everything
ever made "as seen on TV"
Then there is a third room where landscapers build huge (up to 1000 sq
ft) gardens with buildings in between like shops in a quaint little
town. We have one of those shops. Also there is a group from Seagrove,
and the NC Winery Assoc.
We're almost ready, one commitee goes down tomorrow with all our
shelves and pedistals and such, and another group on Monday to set up
all the inventory, then a fancy pants opening on Tuesday night and the
show opens to the public on Wednesday. I'm just waiting until Tuesday
when the organization part can end and the fun selling part begins.
