homemade slab roller

Yahoo has a homemade pottery tools group and someone by the name of Ken
posted pictures of a completed slabroller he had made plus a schematic.

A copy of the schematic he used and my husband also used is at
http://www.aircomputers.com/grnthum30/slabrollershematic.jpg

Someone else on this site also made one based on this schematic and said
it was working great. His schematic doesn't mention putting what I call
a collar on the ends of the rollers and my husband thinks the rollers
would "walk" out of the setup with use unless there is a collar or
whatever you want to call it to keep them from sliding back and forth.

Karen,
Go to my Yahoo site: http://photos.yahoo.com/rakuken2000
Look at the close up picture of the pipe and cable. Just inside of the cable
on the pipe there is a ring to keep the pipe from "walking" or sliding back
and forth. The ring moves freely and is held in place by a wire fastened
through the pipe.
Anyone else that is interested in making the slabroller feel free to copy
the pictures.

Aloha, Ken

I found pictures of a homemade slab roller Ken Kang built. If he or anyone
else who made this also can help me with the cable wrap portion I would
greatly appreciate it.
