Hi all,
I couple of us agreed to mix a some of John Britt's Iron Spot and
Persimmon glazes. I did some of them and have pix on the following
page:
I put a couple on tiny teapots too.

If anyone cannot click the above link to open the page could you email
me? Several friends have said my links aren't "hyper", but when I look
at the "sent"emails they are...
Thanks
Jennifer

Jennifer,
I checked out your tests with the oil spots and kaki glazes. Pretty
exciting tests! I, too, am testing high iron glazes from John's book.
Specifically, you mention in your test site, that you used a rutile
wash over a couple of glazes ... what is a rutile wash? Are you just
suspending rutile in water, or is there a specific recipe? I like this
effect!
