I listed a 120V test kiln for sale some time back, but specified I
would not ship the kiln.
I will be attending NCECA and I can bring the kiln with me as I will
be driving.
If anybody is interested in buying the kiln, please contact me off list.
This is a great kiln for small work and in situations where 220V is
not available. With the infinite control, it's easy to slow down the
cooling.
Here's the particulars:
An image of the kiln on Olympic's web site, 5th kiln on the right:
http://www.kilns-kilns.com/120%20Volt%20Kilns.htm
Doll/Test kiln, 120V, 15amp (requires 20 amp circuit), 1,800 watts,
cone 10, .3 cu. ft., infinite control switch, Kiln Sitter.
Size listed on site: 11 1/4" x 7w x 9"d - I measured: 11" x 6 1/2"w x 8"d
Kiln fired 3 times, never above cone 6.
Reason for selling: Not using it, conducting tests during regular firings.
Price listed on web site: $500
Asking price: $250, includes full shelf. Terms - cash only
Again, contact me off list. I will provide contact information at NCECA
Thanks, Bill in Fredericksburg, VA. where we're expecting yet another
snow storm tomorrow.
